1. Powerful Leadership™
This program focuses on the primary tools for creating collaborative partnerships and bottom-
line results — the skills of influence, relationship building and engagement. It is a sequence of
four separate learning experiences taking place over the course of approximately three months,
each with its own specific outcomes. The skills introduced in these learning experiences are
sequential in nature, with each experience building upon the prior experience.
Learning Experience #1: Executive Presence Elite™
Executives learn to lead in a manner that positions them as a change leader, conveying
strength, personal power, and openness ? causing others to want to follow. The benefits are:
- The ability to motivate and inspire others to produce desired organizational change and
results.
- Increased awareness of self and others, with the communication skills and knowledge
needed to motivate, inspire and lead both individuals and teams in a variety of
interactions.
Learning Experience #2: Leading Relationships™
Executives learn to retain talent, move the organization through change, and attain bottom-line
results they need to not only be able to build strong productive relationships, but to model the
behaviors that build them. The deliverables are leaders who:
- Have the ability to balance the importance of positive and productive relationships with
the importance of results.
- Can adapt their behaviors to the needs of the moment ? people-centered one moment
and results-centered the next.
- Can motivate not only the employees, but also the leadership team to work together to
achieve greater results.
Learning Experience #3: The Power of Engagement™
Executives move from debate to dialogue — from win/lose to win/win. They learn how to engage
others in a manner that opens the doors for discovery of — how others think, how they think
themselves, new solutions and directions, new ideas, and more. And, within this air of discovery,
is a stronger commitment from others to stay, solve problems, produce results, and develop
relationships. The benefits are:
- Executives gain awareness of current partnerships' views regarding their strengths and
opportunities — through the power of a 360-degree Feedback process (based on Emotional
Intelligence Competencies).
- Executives and the organization gain access to new ways of thinking, new ideas, new
approaches, and new solutions — giving rise to results and outcomes beyond what may
have been expected — ultimately cutting back expenses and increasing revenues.
- Top performers remain within the organization utilizing their talents to move the
organization forward.
Learning Experience #4: Executive Coaching
Executives learn how to put what they have practiced in the classroom into action in the real
world. The benefit is leaders who:
- Are willing to experiment with new behaviors in order to get different results.
- Transform their newly found skills into lasting behaviors with a lasting impact on the
results of the organization.
What can participants expect?
Participants in this in-depth leadership development opportunity will interact with skilled
behavioral coaches — maintaining the relationship from start to finish. They will be involved in a
highly interactive and, at the same time, introspective process. The use of two powerful
assessments — the DISC Behavioral Assessment and the 360-degree Emotional Competency
Inventory — provides participants with broad reaching insight into their behavior as leaders and
as communicators, as well as an understanding of the impact they have on others. They will
walk away with a plan of action and the skills to impact the organization in a successful way.
2. The Power of Engagement™
In this two-day program participants learn how to engage others in two-way dialogue. The
program builds on the foundation of core communication skills and takes the participant to a
new level of skill.
Participants in The Power of Engagement™ walk away with a new way of approaching their
interactions with others. They learn the difference between debate and Dialogue, eliminating the
need to "win" and positioning them as partners in the communication. They learn to use
dialogue to open the doors for discovery of how others think and how they themselves think.
They discover new solutions, new directions, new ideas, and more.
The benefits? Top performers remain with the organization, utilizing their talents to move it
forward. The door is opened to new ideas, new approaches, and new solutions. Teams solve
problems, produce results, and develop strong relationships. The results of Dialogue are above
and beyond what was expected. Expenses are cut and revenues increased.
Participants will:
- Create the vision of their future self as leader (qualities, traits, characteristics and
behaviors).
- Know the competencies needed for Emotional Intelligence and their impact on
relationships and results.
- Receive 360-degree feedback based on Emotional Intelligence Competencies.
- Learn about Mental Models and their effect on the way the participants arrive at their
conclusions and the way others arrive at theirs (beliefs, perceptions, conclusions, etc.).
- Use the skills of Inquiry and Advocacy to engage others in a dialogue that results In
discovery — of self and others.
- Gain an appreciation of their strengths and an awareness of their "gaps" or opportunities,
as compared to their leader vision.
- Develop a Learning Agenda that identifies their next steps:
- Who they want to be as a leader;
- What they want to learn (to help them get there);
- Where they believe their time needs to be invested.
3. Emotionally Intelligent Leadership™
This program combines 360-degree feedback and executive coaching to support individual or
team development.
Through Emotionally Intelligent Leadership™, leaders learn to have a more positive impact-on
other people and on their own performance. They learn to accurately assess themselves and
their achievements and to build self-confidence. They learn to manage themselves with initiative
and optimism. They develop empathy and a spirit of service to others. They become
inspirational leaders who influence those around them through collaboration and teamwork.
And, finally, they can become a positive catalyst for change.
Emotionally Intelligent Leadership™ includes:
- A thorough assessment, through the Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI), a 360-degree survey tool that assesses the competencies described in Daniel Goleman's
Working With Emotional Intelligence.
- Individual coaching & consultation over a period of time, provided by an executive coach
who is accredited in the ECI instrument and coaching process.
- As an option for teams, the program can include a one-day workshop.
Emotional Intelligence (or EQ, as it is often called) is a better predictor of leadership success
than one's intelligence quotient, or IQ, which is really just the "price of admission." Unlike IQ,
Emotional Intelligence can be learned and developed.
Emotionally Intelligent Leadership™ is ideally suited for a wide range of individuals, from
emerging leaders to experienced executives. Emotionally Intelligent Leadership™ will also boost
the effectiveness of teams. As the result of their work with VoicePro®, executive teams have
modified their behavior and improved their ability to plan, problem solve, develop others, and
provide inspirational leadership.
4. TotalTeam™
If you want to maximize the power of your team, experience this one-day program.
The strength of any team is how individual differences come together to create a powerful force.
Through the use of the DISC Behavioral Assessment, and specific activities and exercises, the
individuals on the team learn about behavioral styles — theirs and others. Individuals learn to
value and appreciate "difference" for the strength it brings to the team — when that strength is
leveraged. It no longer becomes a matter of right or wrong, but of "different." This newfound
knowledge opens the door to effective communication between team members. We help to
keep that door open by providing practical approaches to effective communication through every
style.
Teams and individuals will:
- Increase the communication and relationship building effectiveness of the team.
- Increase your team's credibility within your organization.
- Gain commitment and cooperation not only from members of your team, but from people
outside your team as well.
- Increase the positive working and relationship energy on your team.
- Open the lines of communication between team members.
- Increase the level of appreciation for differences on your team.
5. Lunch & Learn
